this I didnt finish--in more ways than one, I think a little bit of ink and some washes may pretty her up a bit.

Colour Pencil
25 Jul 09, 08:07:00

I gave it a go colouring in Jen (I told you its not Grace!) in photoshop and wasnt happy so I took the original and gave it a treatment with coloured pencil.

There a pest. they must DIE
18 Jul 09, 08:07:00

Some people find it hard to belive that Roos are a pest and need to be kulled. When I was working for the Department of Environment I asked if I could get involved with the roo kull on Herrison Island, I was told no because I did not have a Departmental Firearms Licence. I said I didnt need one because I wasnt planning on shooting the roos, I was going to kull them the TRADITIONAL WAY. (with the roo bar on the front of the hilux).

you can probably guess I didnt keep that job long.

EDIT: I had just started to trace him up in illustrator when the power went out. DAMN!. Im going to try and find an old copy of ills to put on the laptop because this is starting to get rediculus!

Modern Art
18 Jul 09, 07:07:00

Out of all the scribbles I have posted on this blog, the most recent have been from 2007. I decided that I needed to put pen to paper and get some more recent shit on here. So a short journy down to Jacksons to pick up some supplies and here are the first couple of skribbles i have done in a long time.

This is a self portrait--and YES MY HANDS REALLY ARE THAT BIG! (huge!, my hands are HUGE!)

I didnt bother captioning this one because:
  • A. I had something else to do that seemed more important

  • B. I couldnt be arsed explaining that this pic was me tryoing to recreate an earlyer pic the way I intended it to be in the first instance and then linking to said post

  • C. It really isnt worth mentioning at length

  • I do have to go back to jacksons thou.

    Jenny and Suzie
    16 Jul 09, 11:07:00

    A rough sektch of Suzie:

Thase that know me will initialy assume this is Grace. it is not the case. The truth is I didnt draw many pics of Grace--she may have been my girlfriend but she was never my muse. this pic is of someone (no, she didnt pose for me--this is what someone hypotheticaly looks like naked)

I did actuly have who it was written there but on second thought its probably not the best of ideas so I changed it on edit. I also coloured the pic, will post soon.

    cartenz with a K
    30 Jun 09, 11:06:00

This is rare, to find a piece this old of mine--and for it to have carten spelled with a K!. Even though it isnt artisticaly any good, it desreves its own post for its rareity.

    Old grafitti
    28 Jun 09, 10:06:00

Here are a couple of scetches from back in the 90's when I still thought this was cool:

There are stories behind both, but I cannot be arsed telling them, I just wanted that chick to nolonger be the first post. I may edit this at a later date.

And today is that later date. Its a lie, there are not sotries to them both. only one has a story, the other is a work of non fiction. guess which one has a story behind it? go on, dare ya!...

the latter was part of a large sheet that ended up becoming home made "acid". Dont ask.

    Hardcore Pawn?
    27 Jun 09, 04:06:00

A friend once asked me to "draw some hardcore pawn", so i drew him this...

...Oh, now I get it. PORN. Same dude.

    Chuck Taylors
    27 Jun 09, 03:06:00

This was part of a college assignment, these two didnt make the final.

Years later, in 2007, i was at centeral TAFE in perth to see some buddist thing and one of the exhibits of the TAFE students works about the place was exactly the same thing. Arts students and Chuck Taylors, whoed of thunk it???

There is a story behind this...
    26 Jun 09, 11:06:00

But do you really want to know?

ok, the... no... there is no way I can make this sound good.

Old stuff for the spindle of backups: Photoshop
    25 Jun 09, 01:06:00

this is some reeeeeeeallllllyyy bad photoshopping!. Guranted this was done on Photoshop 5.5 back when whe were still worrying if our computers would survive the new years celebrations...

(Interesting sidenote: I had a broken wrist on millenium eve so I stayed home--and yes I spent the night online. At around midnight my local internet connection dropped out for a few hours and the only way I could get online was thru adobe.com???--my ISP in '99 was iinet so i'll just blambe them)

Anyway, I was just learning Photoshop and Illustrator back then and heres some pics I tryed to colour in photoshop:

This design was originaly drawn in pencil for an Aerosol project for an unnammed municipal council.

You may (if you have visited before) have seen the pencil drawring of
my room in a previous post.

I just coloured the background to this one, I decided Illustrator was her destination.

Old stuff for the spindle of backups
    19 Jun 09, 10:06:00

Here are some college drawrings pulled from the spindles of backups:

This one was for a storybook project I did at College in 1999.

This was a background for the same project

This was also a college project, thou this was on perspective--you can tell I drew it from a photo.

Another of freo for the prespective project.

Again with the perspective project (insert stoned teenages here is the caption in my scrapbook--it was 1999 after all)

My old bedroom, this didnt make the final cut for the college project. (i should have captioned this 'insert drunk teenagers here'

    Texas George: Where art thou?
    19 Jun 09, 09:06:00

Back at Murdoch I put together a porject called "Texas George", The Iraq war was going on (it still is isnt it?), George Bush John Howard were sending us to a war we didnt want and I thought it apt that I do my multimedia assignment as a cartoon satire on George the second....

Anyway here is some of the original drawrings from the design proposal we put together (when I find the disk with the animation on it i'll post that):

    past art: H116 assignment
    06 Jun 09, 08:06:00

I put these HTML pages together in 2002 for an assignment at Uni. Most people drew stick figures, I couldnt let myself do that so I did some scetches. time was of a bit short and they are a bit rough but here are some. (click to go to the storyboard to view all the pics)

    More from the crap book
    09 Mar 09, 03:03:00

Heres a few more from the old scrap book:

    16 Feb 09, 10:02:00

The Devil in A blue Dress... at the time i did this i titled it "I will love again"

this is based on a chick i new once or twice. (I have the naked pics still but there is a good reason for not posting them!)
